I’ve long had a thing about information dressed up as knowledge. This bugbear is getting ever more present in my thinking since the reification (and in some instances the deification) of ai.
Knowledge may occasionally be imparted but if it’s not embodied or acted upon it remains as information only. This is why students of science do experiments. And not just students of science.
It’s always information until such time it is turned into knowledge by action.
